WHO IS MIGLIO CPA?
TERESITA C MIGLIO is a Certified Public Accountant. She has lived in South Florida since 1975. She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1979 and a Master of Science in Management in 1981. She passed her accounting board exams and received her Certified Public Accounting license in November, 1982.
Teresita has worked in public accounting since 1983, when she started her own accounting practice. She has concentrated her work in the area of financial management of condominium and homeowner association accounting, as well as small business accounting, and 501(c)3 accounting.
Teresita prepares taxes for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, 501(c)3 as well as individual returns.
Teresita has been involved in various local certified public accounting groups, such as American Society for Women Accountants, where she served as president, and the Cuban-American Certified Public Accountants Association, where she also served as president. She is also a member of the “Asociacion de Contadores Publicos de Cuba en el Exilio”.
Teresita was an accounting adjunct professor for nine years in the University of Miami. She was nominated as “Professor of the Year” during her tenure there.
Teresita was also chosen as CPA of the Year by the Cuban-American Certified Public Accountants Association in 1994-1995 and was featured in the Miami Herald “Vida Social.” on June 22, 1993, during her presidency with the Cuban-American Certified Public Accountants Association.
Teresita is married, has three children and three grandchildren. She enjoys being part of this community and is also very active civically.
